Bowers and Wilkins DB2D subwoofer features Aerofoil bass cones positioned opposite to each other, in a balanced configuration. This unique arrangement makes sure that cabinet vibration is kept to a minimum. These balanced drivers are a key factor for delivering a distortion-free sound for your ears. The DB2D has Aerofoil cones to produce precision bass output. It features twin, dual balanced 10-inch Aerofoil drivers with Aerofoil cones same as Bowers & Wilkins flagship 800 D3 loudspeakers. These drivers are lightweight but strong. They resist bending and are more flexible than conventional cones, giving you precise and controlled sound quality.
Provision of an efficient digital pre-amplifier allows the DB2D Subwoofer to perform optimally every time, no matter what the surrounding conditions are. You do not need any separate microphone kit. A Dynamic EQ and Room EQ system enables the subwoofer to automatically adjust sound in any room and deliver perfection, whether you choose to use it with your home cinema or custom installation.
To let you configure and use DB2D Subwoofer easily, the unit comes to you with an App-based setup. This dedicated App is iOS and Android supported. It allows you to set up and control output as well as audio preset modes, with the help of included positioning guides.
